HF01-RB.  About 10” tall. Includes a card with nectar recipe and care instructions.

(Hummingbirds not included.)

If you already feed hummingbirds, you can add or substitute this feeder at your feeding station and the birds will use it immediately. If you are creating a new feeding station, hang the feeder in a shaded area where you have perhaps seen the birds, or near nectar-producing flowers or plants. It may take some time to attract the birds, but eventually they will find your feeder. An especially good time to establish a feeding station is in early spring, when the birds have just completed their migration

We recommend the following steps to remedy/reduce any dripping from the feeding tube:

- Always fill the feeder almost completely, leaving just enough room for the cork. This helps create a bit of back-suction to reduce dripping. Nectar solution should be cool when filling.

- Make sure the feeder tube is inserted all the way into the rubber stopper. The end of the tube should be flush with the small end of the stopper.

- Insert the stopper tightly into the feeder.

- Make sure the feeder is not in direct sunlight, which causes expansion of the contents and can lead to dripping

- Giving a bit more bend to the plastic tube can help. Remove and warm the tube either with hot water or hot air like a blow-drier. Bend the tube enough to constrict the passageway slightly at the bend, but not enough to close it.
